What is up with the stock market, y’all

Why the market is trading sideways, what that even means, and why I should care.

Hey y’all!

Sorry for being a bit quiet these past few weeks. I was in my own study state, watching the stock market bounce around like mad, and falling own deep deep internet rabbit holes learning about what has the stock market fluctuating recently.

For most casual investors the stock market can seem pretty random. Sometimes it’s up, sometimes it’s down, and we all just seem to trust that it will generally move in an upwards trajectory (which it does!)

But for those of us seeking a deeper understanding of our investments, or even to feel more secure in stock market investing, understanding these ebbs and flows is key.
